A: Yes. VitalSource Helps is a program designed to support students who may have lost access to course materials due to a campus moving to remote learning to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). The program offers free access to thousands of ebooks through May 25, 2020 to Spring semester students. To get started visit https://bookshelf.vitalsource.com/#/user/signin 

A: Any textbook and course material orders can be placed online via the bookstore website. In-person pickup is not available. All orders will be shipped and we are waiving shipping costs during this time.

A: Financial Aid disbursement will begin on March 17.

A: Counselors are available to meet with you virtually, as well as speak to you via email, or via phone. Please visit the Counseling webpage for hours and contact information.

A. No, classes will be moved online starting March 23. Check your MyWCC email for announcements from your professors, and go to www.sunycc.edu/online for information on how to access Blackboard.

A. All spring classes will be offered via remote learning for the remainder of the semester. Registration for summer and fall courses is ongoing.

All English as a Second Language (ESL) courses offered through the English Language Institute will be offered via remote learning until further notice.

Spring noncredit courses are canceled unless notified directly by your instructor. Registration for summer noncredit courses is ongoing.

A: The college has postponed Commencement from May 14, 2020 until December 22, 2020. All August 2019, December 2019, May 2020, August 2020, and December 2020 graduates will be invited to the Commencement ceremony on December 22, 2020.

A. We understand the accessibility issues you may have by transitioning to online courses. 
If you have a smartphone, Blackboard offers a mobile app you can download for free from the app store and is supported on devices that are running iOS 9.0+, Android 4.2+ and Windows 10+.

A: All of our classes are transitioning to an online format to reduce the risk of exposure to Coronavirus (COVID-19). We understand changing to an online class may not be ideal for everyone and we are providing Blackboard support to help this transition and support the teaching and learning experience you are familiar with and expect.
