Here’s what students have to say about COLSC 100 First-Year Seminar
“This class helped me get involved with my college. I didn’t know any events were hosted at campus and off campus until this class helped me step out my comfort zone and go to new events. This class is very helpful for first year students.”
“My professor in this class was very wonderful. She helped me out with a lot of things, allowed me to ask her about problems/ concerns I have with different assignments, and she let me speak my mind, allowing me to express my feelings on different current events that have been happening during these times. I am very glad to have worked with her in my class.”
“This was a great class that helped me get by my first semester knowing useful information, like managing my time, who and how to contact for different situations. My son started going to this college at the same time I did, and he was clueless as to who he had to get in contact with and or how to do things. This is a great class for students coming into the school for their first time. Highly recommend!”
“I recommend this for students who are starting here because it will help you understand what the college has to offer and which direction you want to head.”
“Very helpful for a first-year student to feel accepted and welcomed into WCC. A nice transition, also a credit class that doesn’t overwhelm a student with academic work.”
