Worried About a Friend?
Help a Friend Training / BRAVE Talk
Supporting friends can be stressful, and we have helpful information on how to approach and support a friend, classmate, or peer you may be worried about.
The Department of Mental Health and Counseling Services offers two trainings to empower WCC students to support their friends who may be struggling. Our Help a Friend and BRAVE Talk trainings educate students on the signs of distress in their peers, how to take action to help their friends, and where to go if they need more support.
