SUNY Westchester Community College has over 50+ active student run clubs & organizations. Each student group provides various opportunities to make friends, learn new hobbies, explore different cultures, and contribute to the college community. HOW TO JOIN A STUDENT CLUB/ORGANIZATION
To join a club or organization, students can attend meetings during common hour, or contact the Club Advisor for meeting details. Common hour is every Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm. Student Clubs and Organizations meet in designated rooms, which can be found below.
Each group offers a unique opportunity to connect with peers who share similar interests and passions. Whether you’re drawn to academic clubs, cultural clubs, or recreational clubs, there’s something for everyone. Participating in these student run clubs not only enhances your campus experience but also helps you develop valuable skills and build long lasting friendships. Be sure to check the bulletin boards and online portals for updates on upcoming events and activities.

STUDENT MAJOR ORGANIZATIONS
Student Major Organizations are student-run groups approved by the Department of Student Involvement with operating charters. They receive a percentage of the student activity fee determine by the Faculty/Student Association and recieve support from Student Life staff who service as their advisors.
