Agreement Highlights

Lincoln University is the nation’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University (HBCU) and is located just three hours from Westchester Community College.

• Students must graduate from Westchester Community College
• Upon meeting transfer admission requirements students will transfer with junior standing at the receiving institution. Students who transfer from Westchester Community College to Lincoln University are expected to adhere to general academic policies and procedures required for admission to the College, and to fulfill any particular requirements (regarding GPA, prerequisites, clinical experience, etc.) that may be in place for certain academic programs at the College. The Lincoln University catalogue specifies, in detail, all relevant policies and procedures.
• By virtue of completion of the A.A. or A.S. degree at WCC, all students will be waived of the lower level general education/core requirements at the receiving institution. Students will not be required to take any additional lower level general education/core requirements. This applies to all accepted students, regardless of whether a program to program equivalency exists.
• A maximum of 65 credits will be applied toward the completion of the articulated bachelor’s degree program.

Criteria: New transfer student from a community college.
Cumulative GPA: 3.50- Higher
Amount per Year: $5,000
Cumulative GPA:3.25- 3.49
Amount per Year:$3,500
