Graduating Student and Transfer Scholarships
Graduating Student Scholarships are offered through the Westchester Community College Foundation as well as transfer scholarships offered by some local four-year colleges and universities.
The Office of Scholarships in collaboration with Transfer Services is offering students application assistance now through early April. Sign up for Transfer Scholarship application assistance in person at the Career & Transfer Lounge, Student Center Room 290.

Graduating Student Scholarships
Graduating Student Scholarships Eligibility Criteria & Deadline Information
1. Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for Fall 2025.
2. WCC GPA requirement at least of 3.0
2. List of student clubs, student-led events, or community service you have been involved with while attending WCC.
Applications are being accepted for the 2025 application cycle through Monday, April 7th, 2025.
Greta Cohan Personal Development Awards
Personal Development Award (PDA) Scholarships Eligibility Criteria & Deadline Information
Personal Development Award (PDA) Scholarships: The Greta Cohan Personal Development Award was established over 35 years ago to honor this well-loved professor’s deep commitment to her students. These awards recognize students who have overcome varied challenges and whose lives have been transformed by attendance at WCC.

- Selection of recipients will be based on a personal essay that exhibits how Westchester Community College has fostered the achievement of qualities such as personal growth, the joy of learning, emotional maturity, and perseverance.
- Eligible students: December 2024 graduates, May/August 2025 Graduation eligible students who plan on continuing their education at a 4-year institution for Fall 2025.
When a nomination is submitted the student will be notified and invited to complete the application. Nominations are being accepted for the 2025 application cycle through Monday, March 3rd, 2025. The deadline for the student application and recommendation letter is Monday, March 10th, 2025.

Partner College Transfer Scholarships: Pace University, Mercy University, and Fordham University
Partner College Transfer Scholarships Eligibility & Deadlines
Partner College Transfer Scholarships are sponsored by the transfer school and are meant to reduce the overall cost of attendance. Students nominated are notified to apply and review the eligibility criteria for consideration.

- Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.25
- Admitted or planning to apply to at least one of the partner colleges listed: Pace, Mercy, or Fordham University.
- August or December 2024 graduates, or May 2025 soon-to-be WCC graduates and plans to attend the partner college in Fall 2025 as a full-time student.

- Students currently enrolled at an active NYSTAA two-year member college
- Earn an A.A., A.S., A.A.S. degree by August 2025
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Apply and attend an active NYSTAA four-year member college in Fall 2025
