Mandatory SUNY COVID-19 Reporting
Dear WCC Student:
As part of its comprehensive response to COVID-19, SUNY System Administration is tracking the numbers of students and employees who have been tested for COVID 19, whether they are attending class on campus or remotely. All SUNY schools are mandated to report this information onto a secure, confidential database entitled “Health Status Portal.”
If you have been tested for COVID-19 at any time since September 20, 2020, and/or have been instructed to isolate, quarantine, or are self-quarantining due to possible exposure, please fill out the form here: https://www.sunywcc.edu/positive-covid-test-reporting-student/ . This reporting includes tests that have a negative result.
More information about COVID-19 testing is here: https://health.westchestergov.com/covid-19-testing.
This information is being utilized for SUNY tracking purposes only, and aggregated data is reported here: https://www.suny.edu/covid19-tracker/. If there was a potential exposure on campus, contact tracing will commence. Names or other sources of identification will not be shared.
Please note that your professors will not be notified if you complete the COVID-19 testing form. If your ability to complete your course assignments are adversely impacted, please contact your professors directly.
Lastly, the College is finalizing its COVID-19 surveillance testing plan and procedures for those who are coming to campus. Please be on the lookout for another communication on this.
Thank you for your cooperation and stay safe!
