Transferring and For-Profit Colleges

Thinking about transferring? There are so many different colleges to choose from. Some colleges’ mission is to provide high-quality education to their students. Other colleges are structured like a business, and prioritize profit over education. We will learn about what for-profit colleges are, how students are affected by the education-for-profit model, and how to identify a college that puts students first, using a sociological framework.
