Presenters: Professor Heidi Baez & Dr. Elizabeth Miller
Screening of Vice Media’s short documentary “Contamination Nation” about water poverty and poisoning in the Navajo Nation. We will watch the documentary and then have a group discussion about issues related to environmental racism, water poverty, activism, and the specific challenges that Indigenous peoples face in American society.
