Film Screening: “Psycho”

The Harold L. Drimmer Library is happy to present a film screening of director Alfred Hitchcock’s masterpiece, Psycho!

Description of film: Phoenix office worker Marion Crane is frustrated with life. She and her lover Sam must meet secretly, and they cannot get married because most of Sam’s money is spent on alimony. One Friday, Marion’s employer asks her to deposit forty thousand dollars in cash. Seeing the opportunity to take the money and start a new life, Marion leaves town and heads toward Sam’s California store. Tired after the long drive and caught in a storm, she exits the main highway and pulls into the Bates Motel. The motel’s manager is a quiet, odd young man called Norman who takes a keen but creepy interest in Marion.
