Previous Work: I began working at Westchester Community College in the spring of
1997, as an Adjunct Professor and became a full-time member of the Biology Department in the fall of 2006. Prior to becoming a full-time professor at WCC, I was the Biology Laboratory Manager, as well as, an Adjunct Professor at The College of New Rochelle.
Publications/ Presentations: I have given several presentations and have two publications regarding my graduate research, which involved using benthic macroinvertebrates to assess water quality in North Dakota lakes. Additionally, I have given numerous presentations regarding the human body to children, ages 3-9, in their respective public/private school classes.
Campus Involvement: I am a member of the Academics committee, General Education committee, Women’s History Month committee, and Collective for Sciences and Ideas reading group. Additionally, I am a regular attendee at campus events and am serving as a student mentor.
