At Westchester Community College, our faculty, staff, and students stepped up in remarkable ways during these turbulent and uncertain times. Almost instantly and seamlessly, our faculty have converted all our classes to remote formats. Our staff provided the necessary support for our college and community, from IT and business operations to safety and sanitizing. Our marvelous students patiently, and often enthusiastically, adapted to a new learning paradigm. And wonderful friends of the college supported our students in need with unbelievable generosity and unquestioning kindness. As we work through and beyond this pandemic, our priorities are certain: k Protect the health and safety of our students and employees; k Provide access to excellent and affordable education leading; and k Offer academic support for our learners. Even as we pause to reflect on past accomplishments, we are forging ahead toward bold re-emergence. We are already making great strides on a new strategic plan through which we embrace a future full of discovery and new opportunity for our institution and all we serve.
