22 Westchester Community College Special Events T he 24th season of the Celebrity Salon series was among many events which raised money to support our students. Nearly 500 individuals attended twelve salons hosted at the homes of gracious local donors. Salon presenters included: Daniel Weiss, President and CEO of the MET; Pulitzer Prize winner and TV critic, Emily Nussbaum; author and Vice Chairman Carla Harris who was named on Fortune’s list of the 50 Most Powerful Black Executives in Corporate America; and H.W. Brands, history professor and author of more than 20 books. The salons were supported by TD Bank and Cuddy & Feder.
