STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) focuses on the hybridization of art and science and develops critical creative thinking. These courses are designed to encourage self-expression, collaboration, and innovation. IN-PERSON Coding for Kids Give your child the edge and have them engage in coding sequences of instructions that empower them to control robots and gaming interfaces. Students need to be able to write commands in the right sequences in order to communicate their instructions to others. Computer coding is what makes this possible and is a key 21st century competency for children today. Students will code stories, animations, and games. IN-PERSON Advanced Coding for Kids Students will use advanced Scratch techniques to master coding. Next the course will move onto using Python to do in depth programming. This will give students confidence to write programs. This experience will help students to learn and engage in coding sequences of instructions that empower them to learn coding and programming interfaces. Students need to be able to write commands in the right sequence to communicate their instructions. Give your child the opportunity and have them engage in coding sequences of instructions that enable them to control various interfaces.
