We are here for you and want to help you succeed! The English Language Institute uses the communicative method of teaching English as a second language. This means you will work together in pairs and small groups. You will also use English only during your classes with your teachers and classmates. Our classes will provide balanced practice in listening, speaking, reading and writing. You will be required to keep a writing portfolio, which will include the in-class and out-of-class writing assignments you will be doing during your course. 5
