Early Admit Student Placement
The Early Admit Student (EAS) program allows qualified students to take classes at Westchester Community College while concurrently completing high school courses. Early Admit Students must place into college level courses by either meeting placement waiver requirements or taking the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER placement exam.

Check to see if you qualify for EAS Placement Waivers
You may qualify to be waived from the entirety or portion of the placement exam. Please review the following waivers closely. If you meet any of the following guidelines, please submit the proper documentation as indicated in step 3.
ENGLISH/READING EAS WAIVERS
MATHEMATICS EAS WAIVERS
Waivers are subject to change. To take a higher-level mathematics course such as pre-calculus or calculus, you must meet the waiver requirements as indicated for that course or take the Advance Algebra Functions (AAF) placement exam.
Please note: If you do not meet the above waivers, you may schedule a placement exam using Next Generation ACCUPLACER. Please see step 4 for information on how to schedule a placement exam.
Submit any qualifying waiver information
All applicants must have their high school send an official transcript to the Office of Admissions. Official transcripts may be sent from the high school to the college by email to HSTranscript@sunywcc.edu
Sending SAT scores?
Option 1: You may submit an official copy of your SAT results. To learn how to officially send your SAT results, please visit: How to send your SAT results
Option 2: You may submit an unofficial copy of your SAT score report. The unofficial score report PDF must clearly identify the student, exam date, and exam results. For information on how to obtain a copy of the score report, please visit: How to receive an unofficial SAT score report.
Unofficial SAT score reports may be submitted to the Office of Admissions at HSTranscript@sunywcc.edu
Sending ACT Scores?
SUNY WCC will only accept official ACT score reports sent from ACT. To learn how to send ACT scores, please visit: How to send your ACT results

Schedule your virtual or on-campus placement exam
If you have NOT been waived from the entirety of the placement exam.
Follow these steps BEFORE scheduling your placement testing:
To schedule your Next Generation ACCUPLACER exam date, please fill out the below request form. Early Admit Placement exams are being offered both virtually over zoom and on-campus with limited appointments at the Valhalla Main Campus.
After filling out the request form, you will be contacted by a Testing and Assessment representative within 1-3 business days to help schedule your placement exam.
To complete the Placement Exam Request Form, your application must be processed by the Admissions Office and you must have your nine-digit (ex. 000123456) Student ID number. If you do not have this number please contact the HelpDesk at MyWCCHelpdesk@sunywcc.edu.
A government issued photo ID is required (ex. drivers license or passport). Please note a current high school photo ID will be accepted.
Students WILL NOT be permitted to take the test without approved photo ID.
After submitting the request form, you will be sent an email from a Testing and Assessment representative within three business days to schedule your exam. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at Testingcenter@sunywcc.edu

Next Steps after completing placement
After submitting the above mentioned documents and meeting the requirements to waive the placement or taking the ACCUPLACER Test or, you must contact the Office of Admissions at Admissions@sunywcc.edu to make an appointment to meet with an Admissions Counselor to review your test results for a final admissions decision.
After completing the placement exam, your results will be posted in 1 to 2 days.
