Giving Opportunities: Commemorative and Tribute Gifts

Gifts may be made in honor of or in memory of family members, friends or mentors or to acknowledge significant milestones in someone’s life: graduations, anniversaries, significant achievements, etc.  Gifts also may be directed to the Foundation by family recommendation at the time of a family member’s death.

Acknowledgment of gifts in honor will be made to the honoree, gifts in memory to a designated family member with a special card from the Foundation. The amount of the contribution will not be mentioned.

Gifts are added to our “Commemorative Awards” fund and distributed as scholarships to worthy students attending Westchester Community College

Please be sure to provide the

• Name of the person being honored or memorialized
• Occasion for the gift, i.e. birthday, anniversary, death, etc.
• Name, address and phone number of the individual to be notified of the gift.

To direct that memorial gifts be made to the Foundation at the time of a family member’s death, please contact the Foundation Office at 914-606-6670.
